Last Minute Mother's Day Gifts

Hello all :)

We all have mothers who we love, but due to school and other stuff that goes on in life, we don't always have the time to make them gifts. And we know how disappointed our mothers get when they don't get a gift. The gift doesn't have to be big, it's the thought that counts.

This post is going to include some ideas for gifts that you could make for your mum even a day before Mother's Day!!

HOMEMADE PICTURE FRAME:
What you need:
~ Unused/white picture frame OR 2 (or 3) pieces of cardboard cut in a rectangle (Piece A, B, C)
~ Small pictures of you and your mum/your mum/your family OR paper with patterns/coloured paper
~ One normal sized picture of you and your mum.
~ Scissors
~ Glue and/or blu tack and sticky tape
~ White paper OR white paint (if you are using cardboard and not a frame)

Steps:
If you are using an unused/white picture frame:
1) Take the small pictures (or cut them so they are small) and glue them on the frame randomly. If you want to, secure it with sticky tape. OR if you don't have enough pictures of your mum, you can just use coloured paper, paper with patterns, etc. and glue them on the frame randomly. Again, if you want, secure it with sticky tape.
2) Get a picture of you and your mum and put it in the frame.
Done!
If you are using cardboard (don't have a frame):
1) Have the 2 pieces of cardboard the same size. If you want, you can use a picture frame as a guide.
2) Cut one of the pieces of cardboard (Piece A) so it has a square in the middle, like a picture frame.
3) Cover Piece A and Piece B in white paper or paint.
4) Take the small pictures (or cut them so they are small) and glue them on Piece A randomly. If you want to, secure it with sticky tape. OR if you don't have enough pictures of your mum, you can just use coloured paper, paper with patterns, etc. and glue them on Piece A randomly. Again, if you want, secure it with sticky tape.
5) Use blu tack and put it on the 4 corners of Piece B. This means when you place Piece A on top, it will stick together to make a picture frame.
6) Take a photo of you and your mum and blu tack it onto Piece B, so that when you place Piece A on top, you can see the picture.
7) If you want to make a stand for the frame, use Piece C. Make a triangle with it, fold it 3 ways, then cover it in white paper or paint. Glue one side of the triangle onto Piece B.
Done!

HOMEMADE BOOKMARK:
What you need:
~ Piece of (coloured) card
~ Small pictures of you and your mum/your mum/your family
~ Hole puncher
~ Ribbon
Steps:
1) Cut the piece of card into a rectangle. Cut it into the size of a bookmark.
2) Take the small pictures (or cut them so they are small) and glue them randomly on the piece of card to make a collage. You can choose to glue just one side or both sides.
3) Take the whole punch and punch a hole at the top of the piece of card that you have cut out.
4) Thread a ribbon through it, and tie a knot.
Done!

NOTE: I will be uploading pictures as soon as possible
